In autumn 2009 Jans Bock-Schroeder is in New York to present the works of his father Peter Bock-Schroeder (1913-2001) at galleries and museums. Between appointments, he takes his Leica, which was given to him by his father, shortly before his death.
JBS photographs the city he still remember well from the early 1990s, when he lived in the East Village for two years.
The City has changed since the attacks of September 11, 2001. It is cleaner now and it feels safer.
